Have you ever tried a new food before and exclaimed something like, "This is GREAT stuff. How could I have missed something so wonderful!" Or maybe, imagine living your life without a computer or cell phone: you most likely have experienced life without these items at one point or another. Can you imagine your life without one now? Certainly not! You see, that is how it is with me and God. Now that I have Him I cannot dream of living without Him now... it would be so incomplete!
For those of you who have children, imagine if they never even had one single conversation with you from the time they were born. It would totally devastate me if my son was to ever deny me a relationship with him. We are God's creation. He made you for the sole purpose of having a relationship with him. How cool is that! The most powerful being in the universe wants a relationship with.. YOU! God loves you and desires to have a close relationship with you exactly like that of a proper Father-son/Father-daughter relationship.
We believe that the foundation for everything we do should be based this relationship with Jesus Christ. This is only possible through the blood of Jesus on the cross. We were all sinners doomed to judgement. There was NO HOPE. Then, God gave us hope- not the earthly hopes of succeeding at work, being good parents, or having oodles of money, but hope that we will see Him one day! You see, without this free and perfect gift life would be truly miserable! He is what gives us the ability to live a complete life. He is the one who gets us through a miserable days at work. He is the one you can talk to when everyone treats you like trash. He is the one who makes a good day even better! He Is the One!
